Abstract:
This thesis provides structural and contextual analysis of the manuscript “Dîvân”, written by Fetvâemînizâde Gâlib Zühdî, one of the divan poets of the 19th century, and gives information about the biography and literary approach of the poet, Gâlib Zühdî, as a Mevlevî poet. Within this perspective; firstly, the transcribed text of “Dîvân”, which is available in the autograph version, and life, pen name, language use and style of the poet are explored. Following this analysis, the “Dîvân” is structurally examined, and verse forms in the poem are determined and presented. In the part on the content of the poem, the reflections of the religious and sufistic elements, social life and mythological elements on the “Dîvân” are touched upon. In addition, the use of the elements referring to the lover and the beloved are provided. Based on the “nazire” found in the “Dîvân”, the poets, preliminarily Şeyh Gâlib, having an impact on Gâlib Zühdî, and the extent of their impact are determined. Within this context, the “nazire” found in the text and the approach of the poet towards “nazire writing” are evaluated. In the final part, with the description of the manuscript, orthographic characteristics of the poet are demonstrated. Furthermore, based on the autograph of the “Dîvân”, determinations on the writing process of the poet are mentioned.
