dc.description.abstract As a part of the research being carried out at Bogazici University, Kandilli Detector, Accelerator And Instrumentation Laboratory, there was a need for beam parameter-measurement devices and tools such AC current transformer for particle beam current measurements and Delay Wire Chamber (DWC) for particle beam profile measurements etc. In order to satisfy this need and the similar ones that will potentially arise due to the anticipated construction of particle accelerators in Turkey, a multi pronged study has been conducted. First, an AC current transformer was designed, produced and tested on a proton beam line to measure the beam current. Second, in order to measure the beam profile, a suitable delay-wire-chamber was designed, produced and tested using cosmic rays; and finally a beam transport program was written to observe the changes on the beam parameters of a generic beam line. In this thesis, these aforementioned e↵orts are presented and the results are discussed.
