dc.description.abstract This thesis is about Radar Cross Section (RCS) of arbitrary shaped multilayered objects. Arbitrary shaped objects have an important place in the study and application of Radar technologies. Aircrafts, missiles, vegetation are the first examples of arbitrary shapes that come to mind. When they are investigated in detail, it can be seen that these structures are constructed with a number of different layers. The behaviors of these kinds of structures against electromagnetic waves provide considerable information. Therefore, many published papers about this topic exist in literature. The main purpose of this thesis is to model multilayered curved structures by adding small sized dielectric sheets one by one. Quasi static approximation is used in the modeling process. In addition, the method is used to model a hollow cylinder. Both horizontal polarization RCS and vertical polarization RCS are derived. After that, the results are compared with literature. Finally, the results are supported by MATLAB simulations.
